The dragon herald

You get some incredibly, amazingly, wonderfully fantastic news. What’s the first thing you do?

Ohhh it’s so tempting to just yell it from the hilltop!  But I must not, so what would some of my characters do?

Zarrek rarely smiles… He is a stoic man who has been through a lot of hurt and sorrow, and he does not like to reveal his emotions. Still, for amazing news, he would definitely break into a smile.  He only gets news this good a few times in his life, but when he does, everyone around him knows it.

On the other hand, what do you do with an elf who is happy most of the time no matter what?  Jzamneh forest is a whimsical and joyful place, and as their leader, Shu-Giri exemplifies that.  He has experienced his own hardships, yes, but when he receives amazing and wonderful news– imagine going from happy to practically bouncing off the walls.  He cannot contain himself.  He is full of energy, beyond excited, and unable to contain himself.  He could run through the village, climb onto anything he can in the village square, and shout it out for everyone to hear.  He could dance, he could create something out of crystal (such is his Zeah, I might add), or should his lover be the one bearing the good news, he could kiss like there is no tomorrow.

Needless to say, Zarrek usually stares wide-eyed when he watches Shu-Giri receive good news.

About Legends of Lorata

Eleanor Willow is the author of the high fantasy series Legends of Lorata, which takes place on a medieval-style world filled with elves, dragons and faeries. There is also a fourth race, one that is rare and magical: the angelic Starr. Lorata is a planet where four gods are known: good, evil, elemental and celestial-- and there are plenty of legends about them all! One of the most important ones is the prophecy of Jenh's champion, Loracaz, who is promised to return to the land whenever evil threatens to take hold. There are currently for books planned. The first one is completed and currently being edited. Any news I have on about publishing will be shared as it comes in!
